Vacuum Division
Modern industrial vacuum systems remove roof ballast quickly and safely before a re-roof.

Crawford Roofing Corporation uses modern ballast (gravel) removing systems in our operations. Removing non-embedded material prior to a roof replacement ensures a cleaner, smoother replacement process by limiting the potential for dust migration. This effective process also lets us identify and remedy key areas of your roof before repairs or replacement begin.
Roofing ballast removal is a difficult proposition. Roof replacement requires ballast removal, but removing thousands of squares of ballast by hand is daunting — and expensive. Using an industrial vacuum reduces cost and provides far better service.
Powerful, safe and efficient
With the powerful vacuum system we use, we can pull material hundreds of feet — ideal for fast, safe and efficient ballast removal, even from multi-storey buildings. Material is pulled into the baghouse, then dumped into a container for disposal. Multiple filter bags capture dust from the ballast, improving worker safety and job-site air quality.
- Reduces cost versus hand removal
- Pulls material hundreds of feet — even multi-storey roofs
- Reveals roof issues before repair or replacement
- Filter bags capture dust for a safer, cleaner site
